It is quite a puzzle to decide which varieties of potatoes to grow.
Early potatoes:
- produce those small gems around Whitsun
- plant now
- space closer
Maincrop potatoes:
- plant in March/April
- space further apart
- produce larger potatoes
- will store through winter
