  • Directly into the ground:
      • early beetroot
      • lettuce
      • salad leaves
      • carrots
      • radishes
      • spring onions
      • spinach
      • leaf beet

  • in long pots:
      • peas
      • broad beans

  • in seed trays on a warm windowsill:
      • leeks
      • celery

Plant:

  • Onion sets, garlic and shallots
  • Jerusalem artichokes
  • Early potatoes
