How to Protect Brassicas from Cabbage White Butterflies.
Beware of the Cabbage White butterflies around the cabbages, sprouts and broccoli.
Biological control of the cabbage white butterfly involves placing empty egg shells on sticks.
The cabbage, brussel sprout, broccoli and other brassica plants can be covered with a net, to keep the cabbage white butterflies out.
Insect netting, such as enviromesh, provides a barrier against all insects, butterflies, aphids, etc..
Whatever system is used to keep the cabbage white butterflies off the brassicas, the plants should still be checked regularly on the underside of the leaves for eggs of the cabbage white. If found, remove them immediatley.

Thanks for the tip about the egg shells -I now have lots of egg shells hanging from sticks near the brassicas that managed to survive the flood. Thanks again for all your help.
