Basil Growing Card - HerbDay2007
Farming Friends have kindly produced some herb growing cards for us to share, which can be printed off and used as a reference.
Basil adds flavour to salads and cooked tomatoes. It brings a touch of the Mediterranean with it.

This is part of a series of posts about growing and using herbs. The date for HerbDay 2007 is Saturday, October 13

Hi, What a good idea to have herb growing cards. Looks really useful. I use basil but a friend uses it all the time. She uses it for tomato dishes, egg and cheese dishes (especially scrambled egg), chicken and fish. I could go on.
I find it hard to remember that the flavour of basil gets stronger when it is cooked, so a lot isn’t needed. Thanks for an interesting post. Trisha

How nice and how convenient to have herb reference cards.
I will miss herb day because I will be on a plane to Peru.

Glad you like the idea of our herb reference cards. Lucky you going to Peru - the home of potatoes!
