Oregano or Marjoram?- HerbDay2007

marjoramExperts cannot agree on whether Oregano and Marjoram are the same herb, or different herbs.

Oregano (Latin name - Origanum vulgare) is a culinary herb, widely used in Greek and Italian dishes. Oregano is frequently used on pizzas.

Marjoram is a type of Oregano.

The leaves of Oregano and Marjoram are the part of the plant used in cooking. The leaves are aromatic, with a slightly bitter taste.
