TopVeg Favourite Poll Result

TopVeg started the Favourite Herb Poll on September 18th, and in the last four weeks 57 people voted.

herb-pollBasil came out top, the clear winner receiving 25% of all votes (14 votes for basil).

Rosemary and Mint were in second place with 8 votes each.

Parsley was close behind with 7 votes, followed by Chives with 6 and Oregano with 5 votes.

Bay & Thyme had 3 votes each, Tarragon received 2, and Sage was bottom with just one vote.

Thank you everyone for voting and for your interesting comments. The uses & reasons for the popularity of each herb will be collated and published soon.

The favourite herb poll came out with some unexpected results, but Basil is definitely the most popular herb!

  1. I was curious about the herb that would win. I think I voted for rosemary but it was a close call for me. Nothing is better on tomatoes than basil, in my opinion.
