Slugs crawl into the slug trap, where they fall into a plastic bag, unharmed and without any stress. As there is no exit, the slugs stay there until they are lifted out of the trap in the bag, & disposed of, or released back into the wild.

The slug trap uses natural food as bait. Leaves, or other desirable bits from their favourite plant, are placed in the trap to tempt them in. So it is quite safe to leave the baited slug trap in the garden and it will cause no harm to birds or animals.
