Sow radish and lettuce in cold frame

Plant garlic & onion sets if not already done

brussels-sprout-stalkCrop:

celeriac, celery, leeks, parsnips,

sprouts, cabbages, kale

Jerusalem artichokes, & spinach beet

Other jobs:

  • winter digging - on heavy soil, if weather good & soil conditions dry, using a spade. Light soils will not require digging and can be cultivated nearer to sowing time.
  • order seeds from seed catalogues
  • net currant bushes so birds do not eat new buds

  • check stored produce

  • buy a slug trap and start clearing slugs from the plot
