What to Plant Now in the Vegetable Garden
January is not a good month for planting vegetables in the garden because the soil:
- will be cold, so plant growth is slow
- is usually wet and it will tend to glue together when the seeds are planted. The air will be squeezed out of the soil & the seed will be unhappy.
