Love in the Vegetable Garden

Posted by TopVeg - February 14th, 2008

Love in the vegetable garden is like love the world-over – it is hard work - but the more loving effort one pours in, the greater the harvest.

Plants work hard, so they need a top quality site, soil and management.

But, first the gardener has to make his bed- with all the loving care he can muster.

He uses walkways, or duckboards, so that no-one walks on the precious vegetable bed.

To show his love, he makes a definite edge to the vegetable bed,so that everyone knows how important the garden soil is.

The vegetable plants will respond to the love & attention given to the vegetable garden, by working hard and growing to their full potential.

  1. How true that is! Veggies do respond to love… I learned the hard way about not having proper walkways in my veggie garden.

    Happy Valentine’s Day!

  4. You’re killing me again, TopVeg. I look at your perfect walkways and duckboards and I drool with envy and shame. I am, as ever, lost in admiration.
