Do you have any brands that you recommend?

I would be interested in your recommendations of gloves as well. I have many pairs and wear out the best ones so quickly, cheap is a big criteria. My hands are still the worst skin on my whole body, even wearing the gloves.

It is difficult to recommend brands - because everyone has different skin and different reactions. I buy the simplest cotton gloves I can find - as they suit my hands. I wear them inside other gloves - & all day & night when my hands are bad.
After years of neglect, my hands rebelled in a big way & now I try to listen to them, and respond to their needs.
After several trips to a specialist skin consultant & after loads of tests, I was surprised to be told to go home & use a simple cleanser (Sebamed) & E45. But it works, although I have to be careful with what touches my hands - & with my general health.
I have written another post in more detail which I hope will be of interest - it shows the different types of gloves with their components. http://topveg.com/2008/02/22/dermatitis-or-eczema-on-the-vegetable-gardeners-hands/
