The asparagus pea has:

  • pods which are eaten whole & taste of asparagus
  • beautiful red flowers

The asparagus pea seeds were sown

  • 2cm deep
  • placed in a propagator
  • on 5 April
  • germination usually takes 7-14 days at 19-21C, so we are waiting!

TopVeg has not grown the asparagus pea before and is our entry for the Growing Challenge.
