Dandelions are:

  • weeds
  • timepieces
  • a survival food for bees and other pollinating insects while they wait for other flowers to open
  • used to make wine
  • salad leaves

  1. One more thing they are, Top Veg…a survival food for bees and other pollinating insects while they wait for other flowers to open. I love dandelions (in salads, in wine…and in the garden)

  2. Thanks Jodi -
I will add it to the post. How do you use dandelions in wine?

  3. I like dandelions… my husband has a lawn care business though, and can’t stand them. So I’m left without. :(

  4. Hi Angie
Thanks for your comment. How does your husband feel about daisies? They cheer a lawn up!
