The Chef has used an organic method of slug control this year and it has been a great success.  He has not seen a slug!

Nemaslug contains nematodes which kill the slugs.  No more poisonous pellets, this is the green solution!

Although it is important to read the instructions which come with the packet of Nemaslug, the Chef followed these steps:

  1. Store in fridge till use
  2. Dissolve powder in water as per instructions
  3. Best applied when raining, not in sunshine, onto moist ground
  4. Apply with a coarse spray
  5. Buy enough for 2nd application in 6 weeks ( this saves you having to remember) & the supplier will send it to you in time for the 2nd dose.

The Chef bought enough to cover 40 sq meters & as his veg patch is slightly smaller, he used the rest on his borders.

This link will help you find some Nemaslug ( it is an affiliate link)

Many thanks to the Chef for passing on this useful information about the success of organic slug control in his plot.
